Pack on the miles on Scott’s Speedster. The Speedster 50 keeps it fast and lightweight with an alloy frame and fork, Syncros Race rims, and Schwalbe Lugano tires. Endurance cycling, however, isn’t just about speed and low weight, but also about comfort for the long haul. That’s why Scott spec’d the Speedster 50 with a wide-range 14-speed Shimano drivetrain for the perfect gear whether climbing, descending, or laying down rubber on the flats. And, Syncros bars and saddle are designed for long-distance comfort, so you can keep riding as long as your heart desires.

I bought this bike to ride hard and fast. It's a great bang for your buck. It doesn't handle turns as smoothly as I would like, but if you're not racing it shouldn't be a problem. The bike is very comfortable and I've had no problems on long distance rides. The biggest downsides are the weight, handling, and shifters. It comes equipped with thumb shifters, which are impossible to reach from the drops. If you ride on the drops a lot, move onto the next level up. If not, it still shifts crisp.
